Speed-Sensorless Predictive Torque Control of the IM Based on MRAS

In this study, an induction motor (IM) drive based on speed-sensorless predictive torque control (PTC) is designed to perform the high-performance of IMs by utilizing least mean square (LMS) algorithm for adaptation mechanism model reference adaptive system (MRAS). Here, MRAS with LMS stator currents (i_sα and i_sβ) IM. Moreover, rotor fluxes (φ_rα φ_rβ) are obtained current model, which requires mechanical speed (ω_m) along i_sα i_sβ. contrast other studies using proportional-integral (PI) in mechanisms estimate state or parameter, it possible determine states and/or parameters as weight coefficients calculated updated each iteration. ω_m value estimated iteration coefficient.
